Tank DesignDestination Fornebu is an exhibition centre devoted to the new Statoil building and the beautiful surroundings at Fornebu. Here you can see what the 65,000 square metre building will look like, watch walkthrough videos of the building and get a feel for its overall scale. Using words and pictures the exhibition gives you an insight into life at Fornebu, the environment, the landscape, and a glimpse of Fornebu’s history.
Over at Tank we are proud to have designed the exhibition, a project which has been both demanding and fun.

This is a documentary about two old friends, a lot of trout, and a desire to get out into the great outdoors. The film is by Jannicke Systad Jacobsen and gives us a rare glimpse into a beautiful yet strange friendship full of humour, sincerity and exceptional kindness towards each other.

Statsbygg (Public Construction and Property, Norway) has initiated an Open Planning and Design Competiton for a New Museum Complex for the National Museum of Art, Architecture and Design at Vestbanen, Oslo. Tank designed the Visual Identity for this competition.

Why are building site wraps always so ugly, covered in huge logos and advertising for the construction company involved? Entra asked themselves the same question when renovating Blitz in Oslo: they set tank the challenge to create a wrap rich in artistic meaning, which would also hint towards the building’s future use. We took the challenge and designed a wrap that used symbolism from the building’s previous tenants: Blitz, the Church’s City Mission and Edvard Munch, who lived in the building in previous times. «This is by far the largest building wrap we have ever created, a whole 800 square metres!», says designer Linda Skarpås.
