Tank Design

Tank submitted three annual reports to the Farmand Prize, all of which received good feedback. Both Entra Eiendom, Rocksource and IT Fornebu scored highly in the Idea and Design categories. Here are a few extracts:

Entra Eiendom: “The report also boasts a number of excellent graphic devices. The photography has a consistent visual style, and when combined with frames and rounded corners it helps to give the report a great deal of personality. The rhythm and structure is also quite good, and important information has been visualised in an exciting way. The articles which describe selected projects have been thoroughly considered, and the graphs and tables display the same high level of craftmanship as the rest of the report. The jury also appreciated the amount of space devoted to the diagrams which supplement the main content.”

IT Fornebu: “The report is really beautiful and the illustrations are both relevant and playful. It is also well composed and there is a fantastic rhythm and structure. In terms of print production, this report is in a class of its own. There are a great deal of fine details in the illustrations which virtually took the jury’s breath away. The hand-drawn strokes combined with metallic varnish is a first-class example of what can be achieved with print!”

Rocksource: “The report we received from Rocksource can be best described as cool and masculine. The layout and typography has been beautifully arranged in two columns throughout the report. An abundance of white space ensures the text and core messages are accessible. Worth special mention are the black pages which introduce a new topic. These are very well designed in terms of colour, form and composition. In conclusion this is a beautiful report which contains many excellent graphic qualities.”

We´re featured with 3 jobs in the fresh Japanese “@Supermarket: Package Designs” from Pie Books.

Vi er presentert med hele tre jobber i den nye lekre boka “@Supermarket: Package Designs” fra japanske Pie Books.

“Norwegian greenhouse gas emissions will be reduced by 15-17 million tonnes by 2020.” The group Klimakur 2020 will be drawing up the plans to achieve this ambitious target for climate change. The full mission statement will be complete in February 2010. The Environmental Protection Department has put the Norwegian Pollution Control Authority (SFT) in charge of the final report for Klimakur 2020. The report will surely ooze quality and finesse, since it will of course be designed by Tank!

Innen 2020 skal de norske utslippene av klimagasser reduseres med 15 til 17 millioner tonn. Etatsgruppen ‘Klimakur 2020′ skal vurdere virkemidler og tiltak for å oppfylle dette klimamålet. Utredningen skal være ferdig i februar 2010. Den vil danne grunnlag for regjeringens vurdering av klimapolitikken, som skal legges fram for Stortinget i 2010. Miljøverndepartementet har gitt Statens forurensningstilsyn (SFT) i oppdrag å lede arbeidet med sluttrapporten for ‘Klimakur 2020′. Rapporten kommer til å ose av kvalitet og finesse, for den skal nemlig utformes av Tank.
